We're excited to be carrying French pastries by area pastry chef Cecilia Mercante. Trained at the Institut National de la Boulangerie Patisserie in Rouen, Normandie, France, Cecilia has built a loyal following from her booth Le Normandie in Detroit's Eastern Market, her work at The Lark in West Bloomfield, and the many classes she teaches throughout Southeast Michigan. The Ferndale DIY Street Fair is coming the weekend of September 20-21. It's a free, 2 day event that features artists, hand-made crafters, musicians, groups and organizations, local restaurants, michigan brewers who live and work with a DIY attitude.We'll be hosting a DIY (Decorate-It-Yourself) cupcake bar at the festival on Saturday.
